Introduction
Established in 2023, the duties of the Planning and Zoning Commission are to make decisions regarding platting or replatting of land into subdivision within the corporate limits and within the ETJ of the city and make recommendations to the council regarding the regulations of the use of land, location of buildings, and the locations of businesses. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall have all the powers and duties authorized by State law, city charter and city ordinances. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall have the duty to advise the City Council on the adoption and amendment of a comprehensive plan.
