Equipment Operator III

The City of Taylor is seeking a qualified applicant for Equipment Operator III.  This position performs skilled maintenance work requiring the use of maintenance tools and operation of different types of heavy equipment.  Has multiple areas of responsibility.  Work requires contact with private entities.  Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the crew leader and/or supervisor.  Must be available to work overtime and be "On Call" as assigned by supervisor.  This position is open until filled.

Public Works Superintendent           
 The City of Taylor, Texas, located in Williamson County, is seeking qualified applicants for a Public Works Superintendent. This position manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and operations of the Street/Drainage and Cemetery Divisions within Public Works; coordinates assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible support to the Director of Public Works. Highly visible to a wide variety of citizens in the City of Taylor.   This position is open until filled.

Budget/Administrative Specialist      
Performs a variety of administrative functions, including, but not limited to, special projects administration, answering and directing phone calls, preparing various documents and reports, scheduling appointments, filing, purchasing, filing and monitoring liens, coding and processing invoices for payment, issuing permits, collecting permit, development  and impact fees, creates various reports, typing and preparing agenda packets, attending and typing minutes for various commissions and boards and maintaining departmental records.  Responds to customer complaints, assists in developing and monitoring the budget for the department and any other duties as assigned.  This position is open until filled.

Victim Services Coordinator
The City of Taylor is seeking a qualified applicant for a Victim Services Coordinator. This position plans and organizes all aspects of the Victim Services Program of the Taylor Police Department, and manages its daily operations, including but not limited to intra-office coordination, service delivery, filing of victim's assistance claims, and scheduling of volunteers.  This is a grant funded position.  Position is open until filled.

Communications Supervisor
The City of Taylor is seeking a qualified applicant for Communications Supervisor.  This position supervises and trains communications personnel.  Custodian of all law enforcement records and reports. Inventories and purchases all police equipment and provides general secretarial support for police personnel.

The City of Taylor is seeking a qualified applicant for Grounds Operator I.  This position maintains City's Parks, Grounds and Right of Ways in a safe, effective manner.  Duties include: operating light equipment and operating mowing equipment.  Must be available to work overtime and be "On Call" as assigned by supervisor. Equipment Operator I (Streets)
The City of Taylor is seeking a qualified applicant for an Equipment Operator I.  This position maintains City's Streets, Parks, Right of Ways in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.  Duties include: operating construction equipment, heavy machinery and repairing, maintaining facilities and equipment.  Maintenance of streets, parks, curb & gutter systems, Storm sewer systems and street signage.  Must be available to work overtime and be "On Call" as assigned by supervisor.  This position is open until filled.
