Citywide Clean Up
City of Taylor Clean Up Weekend
Date: Saturday Oct. 21, 2017
Collection Sites: 1424 N Main St. & 1200 Welch St.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Gates will close at 3 p.m.
Rates per vehicle: No charge; for residents only
The city will not accept:
- Appliances with refrigerant
- Hazardous materials (see computer drop off info below)
- Waste Oil
- Roofing Shingles
Brush needs to be manageable to be picked up by hand. Any unmanageable brush will be turned away.
Williamson County Recycling
Oil, oil filter, and scrap metal as well as old computer and printer may be disposed of at Williamson County Recycling Center. Batteries, waste oil, oil filters, appliances with refrigerants, chemicals or other hazardous materials will not be accepted at any other dumpster locations. A free Household Waste Collection Day is set for September 30, 2017, at the Williamson County Expo Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hazardous materials will be accepted. City Recycling Center
Don't forget to take advantage of the City Recycling Center at 1606 N. Main St., Taylor, TX 76574. The center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for single stream recycling items.
Cleanup is limited to city residents only. A City of Taylor water bill or valid ID must be shown. All Taylor residents are urged to begin their cleanup efforts now and participate in the citywide cleanup and trash off one Saturday in April and also on one Saturday in October.
