Fitness Class Descriptions:

Pilates: 

  • When: Tuesdays at 6 PM
  • Where: Memorial Fieldhouse, 1412 Davis St.
  • Description: Series of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness. 
  • Cost: $5

Yoga: 

  • When: Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
  • Where: Memorial Fieldhouse, 1412 Davis St.
  • Description: Practice breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, for health and relaxation.
  • Cost: $5

Butts 'N' Guts: 

  • When: Thursdays at 6 PM
  • Where: Memorial Fieldhouse, 1412 Davis St.
  • Description:  Butts and Guts is a fitness class designed to shape, sculpt, and strengthen butt, thigh, back, and core muscles. It is a structured, fast-paced class that targets abs, legs, and glutes. The class incorporates a variety of exercises and can be adjusted to different fitness levels and goals.

Senior Fit: 

  • When: Tuesdays & Fridays at 10:30 AM
  • Where: Memorial Fieldhouse, 1412 Davis St.
  • DescriptionA stretching class for seniors focusing on the range of motion, strength training, balance work, agility, cardio, and fun! 
  • Cost: $5

Track Class Descriptions:

Track Time: 

  • When: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30 PM
  • Where: Memorial Field Track, 1412 Davis St.
  • DescriptionTrain smart, improve gradually, or conquer your running or walking goals!
  • Cost: 

Walk to Run:

  • When:  Tuesdays at 6:30 PM
  • Where:  Memorial Field Track, 1412 Davis St.
  • Description:  Walk with a group, transition from walking to running, progress from a beginner to an efficient runner.
  • Cost:

Timed Mile:

  • When:  Saturdays every 3 months at 7:00 AM
  • Where:  Memorial Field Track, 1412 Davis St.
  • Description:  Get feedback on your timed mile run or walk.
    • Wave 1:  Competitive/Serious Runners
    • Wave 2:  Casual Runners
    • Wave 3:  Beginner Runners or Walkers
  • Cost: December 6 - $5

  • Registration:  Online or In-Person pre-registration required before 6:45 AM before each Timed Mile session on Saturday so that wave assignments can be posted and issued prior to each wave.

Adult Sports:

Volleyball:

  • Where: Taylor ISD Event Center Gym, 3101 N Main St
  • When: Every Sunday from 5 - 8 PM, excluding holiday weekends and the month of December
  • Description: Informal Open Gym
  • Cost: $7 Per Player Per Session
  • Ages: 14+
  • Children: This is an adult-focused event, and any children must be supervised by parent/guardian at all times
  • Registration: Online pre-registration required Sunday at 12 PM before each Sunday 5 PM session. This is separate from the other adult fitness classes, and the bulk fitness punch card doesn't apply. Click below for each individual volleyball session:
