The Public Works Department recently presented streets selected for the Fiscal Year 2021-22 Levelup Program. With the budget Council approved in January as part of the Street Maintenance Program, we have identified a little over 20,000 linear feet of streets for the program. Transportation User Fee (TUF) Fund total this year for street repair funding will be approximately $225,000.
The Public Works Department selected the streets using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) scores from street study conducted by Gorrondona & Associates in early 2020. The Levelup Program looks to improve streets by repairing parts of existing streets. Repairing means to bring localized areas of pavement failure to a drivable condition. The program is intended to improve streets for 1-3 years.
