National Night Out 2014 is just around the corner and it is never too early to start planning your block party!

The Taylor Police Department is proud to partner with the National Association of Town Watch in the 31st Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.

National Night Out 2013 involved 37.5 million people in 15,704 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.  National Night Out 2014 is expected to be the largest ever!

National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

The Taylor Police Department invites all neighborhoods in Taylor to participate in the 31st annual National Night Out event by hosting a neighborhood block party.  Together we can "Take a Bite out of Crime"!

Register your block party and download the registration form.
