We are a micro-batch coffee roaster based in Taylor, Texas. We started Haciendo Coffee in 2020 as a passion project that quickly became a full time thing once people tasted the incredible coffee. Our secrets—we roast our coffee fresh using clean hot air which produces a really clean and flavorful cup. We purchase really high quality green (raw) coffee from farmers.

Our green coffee is sourced and purchased through direct trade relationships with farmers/producers who grow the coffee organically (whether certified or not). The process is very personal to us because we believe that good coffee starts in the ground. We believe traceability and sustainability in the supply chain are important in order to maintain the livelihood and financial future of the farmers as well as to improve the coffee experience for the consumer.

Kelly Powell is the owner and operator of Sweet Tooth ATX in Hornsby Bend, Texas. Born and raised in South Austin, she has a deep love for family, music, food and fun. In the 20+ years that she spent working in the service industry, her understanding of the art of cooking and food preparation grew as well as her enthusiasm for learning new things. What started out as a mild obsession, turned into a true passion for cooking & baking.

In 2006 she started her sweet journey exploring the artistic side of food, avidly pursuing the art of baking and cake designing. As an artist, the concept of cake designing came fairly easily to her. She spent years honing her recipes, learning new decorating techniques and studied the finer points of cake decorating. In January of 2008, Kelly’s Cakes was created, and in 2021 Sweet Tooth ATX was created.
